About Us
Simos Panayi is the founder and organiser of the Cypriot Film Festival in
London. After a sell out success at last year's first UK
Cypriot Film Festival that Simos set up, it returns this December
showcasing the latest, most cutting edge film talent from the
Cypriot community. Simos gained a BA in Marketing and Advertising
at the London College of Communications in 2003 followed by a
specialist Multimedia Course at the prestigious Collage Arts Centre
in London, where he gained expertise in Events Management and
Public Relations.
Simos also has experience working for Blazinstar
Experiential Marketing Agency, where he worked on the marketing
campaigns for some of the biggest brands in the UK including 02
and Hovis, amongst many. Simos organised the first Wood Green Jazz
Jam where local jazz aficionados and jazz pros were able to jam
together. This inspired Simos to be the first to create a Cypriot
film festival in the UK where he can combine his passion for film
with that of bringing the Cypriot community together through the arts.
Simos has also worked with various talents such as a film director, writer, web designer,
graphic designer to help promote and make this event a success. If you
