Eric Averkiou
Eric has been a producer for almost ten years, working on some of the most demanding corporate communication issues during that time. After graduating with honors from Watford University he joined Riverhouse Films.
Working with clients such as Astra Zeneca, Ferring Pharmaceuticals, Siemens, Shell plus many other blue chip
companies, Eric was then offered to set-up and run a production company in Cyprus. With offices in Nicosia
and Larnaca, Summer Road Communication was launched and a successful partnership with the Cyprus Tourist
Organization (CTO) was formed.
During his time in Cyprus Eric Produced and Directed his first short film
‘First Time’ The film was produced in two languages, English and Greek using two different sets of actors
at the same time. The film was screened in Cyprus, Greece and England with encouraging results. After
three years in Cyprus Eric returned to England and Formed ea Media Solutions. With commissions from
Granada Learning, DFES, Lombard, RBS, and Samsung Eric has continued to produce high-end corporate
communication videos. Additionally, Eric also produces a TV show for the Cypriot channel RIK 1 called
‘Emastin Etho’(We Are Here) which features emerging Greek/Cypriot talent in the UK.
Monday Freaking Morning is Eric’s first HD music video for the collective band Plan X.
